I uppsatsen har vi valt att inte koppla empirin till vem av våra respondenter som sagt vad, utan vi presenterar bara våra respondenter i metod-kapitlet. Vi har även valt att sammanfatta intervjusvaren efter våra forskningsfrågor. Här är sammanfattningen av vad vår första respondent svarade (läs även del 2, del 3 och del 4):
What kind of benefits could companies achieve from using social media?
Quick reflections and the possibility to achieve a dialogue with both positive and negative criticism.
How to measure social media benefits?
The benefits of social media should be measured, the difficulty lies in how it should be done. The measurements should focus on activity and customer satisfaction. Activity will be measured quite automatically and will result in example the number of unique visitors and comments. Customer satisfaction have to be measured in some type of dialogue form.
How to coordinate the use of social media in business?
There is no “must have” service, it all depends on what kind of company you have, how big budget you got and what goals you have. Though, you should always choose quality before quantity. But if you use more than one service you could use them as complements to each other.
There is no direct answer to if you should use informal och formal behavior when using social media, but you should act like a human and adapt to the situation. Of course there should be no doubt that the sender represent the company.
Social media is not just a buzz, it may change name and form but the basic idea will stay the same.
How to spread social media usage through an organization?
There is no obvious answer to who within the company that should be the sender. It depends of what kind of goals you have, and the budget. Otherwise it is all about common sense, and to know what you want to achieve with your social media usage.
How has social media changed the relationship between customers and companies?
For the first time it is possible for companies and customers to have a dialogue with same conditions and on the same level.
